How to make a great, Dirty Martini because you deserve it.

Maybe it's Sex and the City, maybe it's the smooth, piney, refreshing taste- maybe it's the glass. Not sure, but they're just... great. I've had horrible ones, I've had incredible ones, my tried and true recipe is:
2 oz Gin, 1/2 oz dry vermouth, 1/2 oz olive juice, 3 olives - dirty af, good af.
I've tried lots of variations of this. If i'm feeling frisky, I'll do 2 and 1/2 oz Gin. You really only need one Martini to feel alive, 2 if you're really feeling yourself, and 3 if you're a psycho (we all have psycho days, don't judge).
Of course you'll need 3 ingredients.
Gin. I usually use Tangery. Basically because it's decently priced and is a classic (like $20ish).
Vermouth. When I first started making these, I went to a really nice liquor store in Silver Lake and got Dole, dry vermouth. It was fantastic. Now, I've learned that good Vermouth is low- key hard to find. I tried Martini Ross once and it was bad, just trust me- don't do that one. Trader Joe's has one that's dry/white/whatever- it's pretty alright, but it works and tastes good (especially in #2).
Olives. I use Queen Olives of whatever variety and use the juice from them as the brine. It works. I'm on the hunt for good olives actually, let me know where you get yours :)
Cheers & xoxo,
